What is 4C Academy all about?

Born from a vision to create new opportunities for students while addressing the workforce demands of local industry, the 4C Academy is a regional institution that puts students in the driver’s seat for their future.
Named after Commodore Conyers, a former Dougherty County School System principal and CTAE director, the 4C Academy opened the doors on May 22, 2017.  A special purpose charter school, the 4C Academy is a collaboration between the Dougherty, Terrell, Calhoun and Baker County School Systems, Albany Technical College, Albany State University and local business and industry.
