FIRST Robotics Competition Kickoff

Get ready for FRC Kickoff at the 4C academy in Albany, Ga! FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) Kickoff marks the beginning of the design and build season. This year, the kickoff is scheduled for January 7th, 2023. Be sure to register your team in the Kit and Kickoff section of the FIRST Inspires Dashboard.

Schedule

10:00am - Event opens to teams

10:45am - 12:00pm - Kickoff ceremony (Local speakers then live stream from Ga Tech)

12:00pm - 12:45pm - FIRST kickoff broadcast

12:45pm - 2:00pm - Kit of Parts handout; two team members and a mentor to pick up kit (4C loading dock) - lunch break for teams

COVID-19 Guidelines

We will follow the current guidance from the Dougherty County School System and FIRST HQ at the time of the event.

  • We encourage everyone to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) recommendations.

  • If there is one thing each one of us can do to protect ourselves and keep others safe, it is to get vaccinated. The new vaccines have proven to be extraordinarily effective at preventing severe illness.
